On December 6, 2019, Professor Joniarto Parung as one of the Industrial Engineering UBAYA lecturers, explained about the implementation of the supply chain in the pharmaceutical industry. The event which was held by Master of Industrial Engineering, was attended by practitioners, alumni and UBAYA students. Prof. Joniarto Parung explaination was starting from the concept of supply chain in general, supply chain in the world pharmaceutical industry, application in Indonesia including government regulations, and the latest trends in pharmaceutical supply chains. Application in the industry 4.0 by using a blockchain is one of the keys to success in the distribution of pharmaceutical products. The discussion session run interestingly because audiences from various industries shared challenges in the field, responded by Prof. Joniarto who has experience as an national supply chain consultant and international keynote speaker.
